I’m taking sleeping pills for insomia and Anti depression pills in the mornings. I was taking both of them at night because they both cause drowsyness but it made me feel really weird. But now during the day I’m exhausted. So what over the counter pills would help with this?
Pro Plus is quite good for short term use but your body gets used to them

this may sound crazy, but talk to your doctor about what vitamin b supplements would work best for you! i believe vitamin b-12 is a big one. i don’t know the measurements, though. most enery supplements make you crash after a while, because of the caffine. vitamin b (like in the 5- hour energy shots) actually tell your body to produce more red blood cells. gives you more oxygen, and to my understanding, better circulation.
also, something that could make you feel tired, is your posture. if you are slumping over during the day, that actually forces the air out of your lungs, and makes you feel tired. check your posture often!

10 cans of red bull hahahah..nah im just kidding, but not really at the same time. I only say that because most of the energy drinks contain a plethora of natural stimulants with fancy names to entice you to buy it. As far as OTC medicines to help you get through the day you could always try:
1. Caffeine Pills – I really dont know what to say about this one, as a high school student I must say they help when you are dead on a monday after a weekend of staying up until 2, but I must also say they cause a pretty bad crash after the stimulant effects wear off (just as coffee would). They are cheap if you buy generic brands, and the ones I have are 200 mg of caffeine, which equates to about 2 cups of strong coffee. Another bragged about ingredient in energy drinks
2. Ginseng – Its still a natural thing that grows in the ground. You can get this in pills and green tea.
3. Ephedrine – Pseudoephedrine is a stimulant, and is somewhat OTC, but you do need to sign a form to get Pseudofed with pseudoephedrine (as opposed to phenylephrine which is now used)…If its a precursor to crystal meth than its bound to wake you up.
4. Herbal stuff – above mentioned ginseng,Yohimbine, guarna, taurine. Theres tons more to list, but all of those herbal remedy things are probably not going to be as instantly effective as caffeine, ginseng, or pseudoephedrine, but definitely have the advantage of not dragging you down to hell when they stop working.
Hope it helps
