What is the best acne medication/treatment/everything? Ive been trying to keep my acne under control for years now. I made appointments to see a dermatologist but they don’t have any openings until 2 months from now and by the time I go for my second visit, Ill be 21with no insurance until mine own kicks in. (I’m under my fathers) I don’t want to go to one without insurance because its a lot of money and I have college tuition and books to pay for.
Anyways, I was just wondering if there is any great treatment for it. I don’t have big pimples but more like the little ones on my forehead and alot of scarring for pimples. I’m using the Neutrogena Advanced Solutions now. No, Proactive did NOT work for me.
Any thing would do for now. I hear of the Differin cream. Does that work?
Some make up tips would do to cover up. Bare Mineral looks caked on me so that one is out of the question (no i didn’t use more than I should) I use Maybbelline Dream Mate foundation. Any make up that I can find in department or drugstores would do.
Hi, I’ve been using toothpaste for years on pimples and its worked for me, try rubbing a little in to each pimple before you go too sleep, and if you feel a tingling sensation then its working, it will bring them up to the surface quickly or reduce them before they come up, its worked for me so give it a try and let me know?, good luck. I have used so many products in the past be them over-the-counter or prescription. (Proactive didn’t work for me either.)
What I’ve been using for the past couple of weeks is this Placenta soap by psalmestra. And no, it’s not made out of really placenta.
It’s made in the Philippines and I have no idea why it works better than anything else I’ve ever used. It has natural papaya enzymes and things.
It keeps you from getting pimples in the first place and fades your scars/hyper-pigmentation all in one (the latter of which is my real problem). It’s fantastic and it’s cheap. If you can order it from somewhere, I highly recommend. References :
instead of using chemical based medication you can go safe for herbal treatment to cure you acne permanently
try this
#Apply a paste of fresh fenugreek (methi) leaves in water over the face every night and washed with warm water in the morning for preventing pimples, blackheads, whiteheads, dryness, and wrinkles.
#Apply a paste of ground seasame seeds with water as poultice for inflammation of the skin due to allergies, skin rashes, and pimples – acne.
#Apply juice of raw papaya (including the skin and seed) on swelling pimples.

I sound like I have the same kind of skin as you. Just bumps, not really big pimples or bad acne.
I have been using Neutrogena Advanced Solutions, and it is doing WONDERS for my skin. I love it so much. I barely have any specs on my face now. Give it time, I have been only using it for like 2 weeks and it really starts working after a little bit.
