i have been addicted to percocets which help with the energy n take energy drinks all day n coffee..i am quiting this time for good n need help with getting natural energy?

congratulations for quitting. All these things you are consuming are very damamging to your heart so its awesome that you are quitting. Now, as with quitting substance abuse, it’s going to take time for your brain and body to get back to normal. First you will feel tiredness from the withdrawals and as the withdarawals ease up you will stll be tired from your body going through the detox process. Do not despair cause the good news is that your body is an amazing machine that is able to clean and heal itself as soon as you stop putting those harmfull things in so you will notice the benefits and after a few weeks will start to feel a lot better an look better too, The first 2-3 weeeks are the hardest so hang in there …Now for natural energy you need to look at helathy foods such as vegetables nuts and grains and juices. Onnce the caffeine and stuff is out of your system your body will begin to recognise the healthy foods and drinks as its energy source and you’ll feel the benefits.

There are plenty of ways you can get natural energy! For one, try getting more sleep, also listen to some rock music (trust me, it’s been scientifically proven). Eat some chocolate, it stimulates the brain. Anyway im not going to say all 55 ways, heres the website:

The vitality pack with oligofructose compounding has done it for our family. When your body is getting proper rest and nutrition you will feel fabulous!!! How much are you spending on those energy drinks? The supplements cost about $22 a month and are totally worth it.

Eat a lot of carbohydrates. They give you energy instantly and can be very tasty. I am a swimmer and I eat carbohydrates before I swim. Make sure you get all our nutrients and vitamins. When you lack eating nutritious food your body will respond by making you feel like crap (lack of energy). Get rid of anything that contain caffine. Surely they will give you energy instantly, but there can be major side effects when that energy is used.

Most energy drinks are bad for your health, but in case you are interested there is an energy drink created by a group of drs to be good for your health (and they taste good too, I think there are 14 flavors now..?) Its called Xs, I buy it from http://www.relaxedshop.com. It is available with or without caffeine, but the cool part is that the energy comes from a blend of vitamins, but mostly B12 – awesome.

you can get more energy by reducing your meat intake and eating more organic fruits(make homemade smoothies) and vegetables if you can find some great recipes on the internet, getting 8or more hours of sleep at night and drink vegetable juice if you dont have time to eat vegetables. Wheatgrass juice powder is great and blue green algea and herbs.

Graze throughout the day to help raise your metabolic rate and your energy level. I also take GSH Ignite 1-2 times per day – twice on days that I’m working out and once when my activity level is lower. Its all natural, no caffeine, and just mix with water.
